vision

Lightning in a Bottle is owned and produced by The Do LaB.

Installations, art cars, and immersive areas transform our landscape into something beyond a realm of what we thought to be possible. We partner with organizations that emphasize the idea of worldwide connection and well-being. Our bodies are our primary tool through which we navigate the world. With a little love, breath, and joyful motion, we can bring some balance to our lives.

SUSTAINABILITY

Environmental and Social Responsibility · Regenerative Practices

Leave it Better, Leave it Beautiful. LIB reduces as much energy use as possible through energy management initiatives. These include investing in LED stage lighting as much as possible, and using compact fluorescent bulbs in all other areas. Where possible, we also use solar lights.

Since 2006 we have been giving away free water and are happy to see other festivals around the world pick up on that trend. This initiative creates zero waste, zero shipping, zero fuel, and eliminates plastic packaging and toxic chemicals leaching into the water. The Green Team educates attendees on recycling, composting, and keeping the grounds clean for a greater festival experience.

Plan to take everything you bring to LIB back with you, or take advantage of LIB’s Waste Collection Stations:

  • Bring your own trash bags and sort your camp’s waste into compost, recycle and landfill.
  • Sorted waste can be dropped off at collection stations FREE of charge.
  • Unsorted waste will incur a fee based on bag size.
  • Bulky items, like camp gear, can be accepted. Fees may apply.
  • Items in good condition can be donated.
