The event is entirely sponsor-free and runs without commercial advertising, allowing the community and culture to take center stage. All food vendors serve only vegetarian or vegan options, aligning with the festival's values around sustainability and ethical consumption. Guests receive a reusable garbage bag upon entry and are expected to take personal responsibility for waste, with a refundable garbage deposit encouraging a leave-no-trace approach. Additionally, since 2014, an onsite Awareness Team has promoted mutual respect, consent, and collective care throughout the grounds.
